Game jam とは

Game Jamは、2日でゲーム開発を行うハッカソンです。

1日目にテーマが発表されるので、そのテーマに沿ってグループでゲーム開発を行います。

1グループは4~5人です。

このイベントの大元である Global Game Jam (以下GGJ)は、世界でもっとも大きなゲームハッカソンの一つで、毎年1月頃に開催されます。

今回のイベントではなんと、GGJのディレクターの1人である Gorm Lai さんにお越しいただいています。

Gorm さんはGGJのイベントを開催するだけでなく、数々のゲーム開発を行っています。

1日目

13:30 会場、受付開始
14:00 オープニング
14:15 Talk1 Global Game Jam について
15:30 Talk2/3 ゲーム開発者の話等（調整中）
17:30 テーマ発表、アイデア出し
17:50 グループ作成、ゲーム開発開始

2日目

08:30 開場
18:00 開発終了（https://itch.io/jams 等を使用し、ゲームをオンラインで見られるようにする）
18:30 プレゼンテーション（10分/1グループ）

Wi-Fiは会場で準備致します。

About Game Jam

Game Jam is a 2-day hackathon for the development of a game. The theme will be revealed on the first day and you will develop a game along the theme in a group. A group consists of 4-5 people.

Global Game Jam (GGJ) that is the origin of this event is one of the largest game hackathons in the world and it will be held about every January. Gorm Lai, one of the directors of GGJ, will join the event! He is not only organizing GGJ events but also creating a lot of games.

Schedule (Just a plan)

First day

13:00 Open the venue
14:00 Short welcome talk
14:15 Talk 1 - About the Global Game Jam
15:30 Talk 2/3 (still adjusting)
17:30 The theme is revealed and brainstorming
17:50 Group forming and start the development of a game

Second day

Tuesday:

08:30 Opening
18:00 End of the development. (All groups must have uploaded their game to websites such as itch.io.)
18:30 Presentation (10 mins/1 group)

We will prepare Wi-FI for everyone.
